All profits* from sales of album downloads (at BandCamp), vinyl records, t-shirts, and autographed copies of the original play “King of the City” (via dedicated fundraiser website) will support those in need due to homelessness.

*All proceeds from sales after applicable taxes and website fees will be used to support this effort. No production costs will be covered by proceeds.

My name is Hershey Bell. I hold a medical degree (MD) from the University of Toronto, an education degree (MSMedEd) from LECOM, and I am a Fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine. I am a lifelong medical educator and have championed social accountability in medical education.

I am also a home studio musician and over the past two years, with the assistance of my fellow home studio collaborators around the world, have created the concept album “King of the City”. It tells the story of a man rescued from the streets who rises to power at the expense of those less fortunate, loses everything, learns the truth of his life and redeems himself by serving those who are forced to live on the streets.
